When I was a very young child, my family was very close. That seemed to change after my grandmother passed away. We were all grieving at the same time and began having a tough time communicating with one another. However, years passed, and we still were not as close as we once were. A few years ago, I decided to ask my family to go to family counseling. I wanted us to get close again, yet I didn't know if it was too late to heal our "family wounds." I was greatly surprised when everyone agreed to go, and our counselor really helped us realize that we were all holding grudges against each other for silly reasons.
